Robert Moberg is a life-long native Oregonian. He was born and raised in Astoria, Oregon, where he learned the fishing trade at the age of 14. He was a commercial gillnet fisherman in Astoria |
and Bristol Bay, Alaska, where he earned the money to pay his college tuition. Bob graduated from Willamette University in 1969 and Willamette Law School in 1972. He also served in the National Guard from 1969 to 1975. He has been married to his wife, Kathy Moberg, for 38 years. They have three daughters. Bob Moberg served as a Marion County Deputy District Attorney after graduation. He started practicing law in Seaside in 1974. He has been at 842 Broadway, for the past 35 years. Mr. Moberg specializes in wills and estate planning, business law, and financial and bankruptcy matters. He has worked in domestic relations and is a mediator and arbitrator. He has been the Seaside Municipal Court Judge for 33 years.

Mr. Moberg has been an active member of the Seaside Rotary Club, and served on the Seaside School Board for 13 years. Bob has been a member of the Seaside Providence Hospital Foundation and is currently a director on the Clatsop Behavioral Health Board. He is a member of the Oregon Community Foundation.
